Barcelona president shoots down Neymar to PSG because of one reason

Neymar - FC Barcelona v Paris Saint-Germain - UEFA Champions League Round of 16: Second Leg

Financial Fair Play

Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu has explained that Neymar’s release clause is impossible to trigger to a team willing to comply with FFP rules.

This comes after a hurricane of rumours over the past week that Paris Saint Germain were willing to trigger Neymar’s clause.

There were even suggestions that the player had been telling friends that he would join the French giants.

Now, Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu has shot down rumours explaining that the player “is not on the market”.

Further to that, Bartomeu explained that PSG could not activate the release clause for Neymar due to Finacial fair play.

“These clauses are impossible to activate if you want to comply with the financial fair play.”

If PSG are legitimately looking to sign the player, they will not be going down without a fight.
