Out of favour Super Eagles forward Aminu Umar scored an 89th minute equaliser for Osmanlispor to deny league giants Fenerbahce all three points in a Turkish Super Lig game decided at the Osmanli Stadi.
Fenerbahce raced into an early lead when Giuliano put them ahead in the 7th minute, and just when they thought they have done enough to run home with a pricelss three points away from home Aminu Umar struck.
Umar had the easiest of tap ins after Fenerbahce goalkeeper Volkan Demirel parried a ferocious drive from Payam Sadeghian onto the path of the 22 year old former Wikki Tourist forward.
The goal was Umar’s second of the season with his first goal coming in their 3-0 win against Kasimpasa on the 30th of September, and he is three goals away from matching his last season tally of 5 goals after just 11 games.
Another forgotten Super Eagles Player Raheem Lawal was on from the start before he was substituted for Sadeghian who bagged the assist for Umar’s goal with four minutes left to play.
