Ian Holloway says QPR must believe they will pick up their first away win of the season at Nottingham Forest

QPR boss Ian Holloway is calling on his players to believe they can pick up their first away win of the season when they take on Nottingham Forest tomorrow.

Holloway’s side have drawn four of their seven away games but are yet to taste victory on the road having drawn at Bolton and Sunderland in their last two outings.

However, they arrive at the City Ground on the back of home wins against high flying Wolves and Sheffield United.

Conor Washington celebrates scoring his side’s first goal in the win against Wolves

“(As well as Tuesday) we had a big win last Saturday, but let’s see if we can get a win on the road on Saturday because that’s where our problems lie at the minute,” he told the Brent and Kilburn Times.

“Can we get that out of our mentality and say we can win away from home? It’s about believing.

“Hopefully we can now follow it (the two home wins) up with another good away performance.

“The last two have been very good. If you can nick a point away from home and win at home, (you can) get on a run and get going.

“Let’s see if we can get on a run of games where we don’t get beat, which would be nice, but we have to earn that right and this division is so tough.”
