Goals from Jason Cummings and Kieran Dowell secured a much-needed 2-1 victory for Nottingham Forest over Sheffield United.
And you can watch Reds reporter Paul Taylor give his verdict on the match in our latest Forest video.
Mark Warburton’s side went into the match on the back of four successive defeats, and fell behind inside just three minutes when John Lundstram found the back of the net.
However, they turned it around before the break as Cummings claimed his first league goal for the club and Dowell provided a fine finish just before the half hour mark.
The Blades put Forest under pressure for long spells in the second half, but they held on to claim all three points and bring an end to a four-match losing streak.
“The timing of it couldn’t be better really,” says Paul. “After three straight league defeats and five defeats in six games prior to this, they really didn’t want to be going into the international break on another low, on another disappointment or on another dose of frustration.
“It’s funny how football works. Today they didn’t play as well as they did against Fulham but they were clinical in key moments and they got the job done.
“They ground out a win against a Sheffield United side who had clearly done their homework on them. They showed character, they showed grit and they showed resilience.”
Forest now go into a two-week international break, ahead of a game against arch-rivals Derby County.
