Nottingham Forest will hope to put on a similar display to last Saturday’s impressive win at Hull, when they travel to Leeds United and face Aston Villa at the City Ground in the New Year.
The 3-2 success at the KCOM Stadium was broadcast live on television, and games against the Whites and Villa have been selected to be shown live, with Forest hoping to rekindle the scintillating attacking football that saw Kieran Dowell net a fine hat-trick and claim the Man of the Match award in front of the cameras.
Forest’s Elland Road date with rivals Leeds on New Year’s Day will still kick-off at 3pm, while the visit of Steve Bruce’s Villains on January 13th has been pushed back from 3pm to a 5.30pm kick-off.
So far this campaign, Mark Warburton’s side have been on television no fewer than five times, with their first win coming on Humberside a week ago.
Prior to that, audiences watched them lose at home to Leeds, then away at Sheffield Wednesday, and the first meeting of the season at Villa Park, before a 2-0 reverse at the home of their arch-rivals, Derby County last month.
