Almost 50,000 tickets snapped up for Trent Bridge internationals ahead of going on general sale tomorrow

More than 47,000 seats have already been sold for next summer’s three Trent Bridge internationals ahead of tickets going on general sale tomorrow at 9.30am.

Tickets have been on sale during the last two weeks to Nottinghamshire members, supporters and priority bookers who had registered their interest in advance for England’s One Day Internationals against Australia (Tuesday June 19) and India (Thursday July 12) and Test match against India (Saturday August 18 to Wednesday August 22).

The two One Day International fixtures have sold particularly well, with only single seats around the ground and William Clarke Stand tickets remaining for the game against Australia.

James Anderson took his 300th Test wicket in England at the Test Match against South Africa at Trent Bridge

“The interest in international fixtures here at Trent Bridge remains very high, both from people living locally and those travelling from further afield,” said Notts commercial director Justin Tose.

“The quality of the opposition has clearly played a part in people’s desire to buy tickets, but I think it’s also a reflection that those who visit us enjoy the experience we put on for them, and want to come back.”

Prices range from £7 to £15 for under-16s, £9 to £25 for under-21s and £10 to £75 for adults. Family tickets (two adults and two Under 16s) are between £25 and £120.

Tickets are limited to six per person for each ODI and six per person per day for the Test match. Tickets will be sent out by post in the New Year.
