Were you always a full-back?
Yes, always a right-back. When I was growing up at Southampton’s academy I did play a little bit in centre midfield and then had a few games at centre-back for the youth team but I’ve always really been a right-back by trade. They like to have a look at you in a few positions in the academy at Southampton.
