Icardi could move from Inter Milan, says wife and agent


Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi ‘is happy’ at the Serie A club but could move away in the future, according to his wife and agent Wanda Nara.

The striker has been subject of speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid and his wife suggested that a move away from Milan could be possible.

Interest in Icardi has only grown with the striker netting an impressive 15 goals in the Italian top flight already this season.

Speaking to Corriere dello Sport, she said: ‘Mauro is an important player, and there are top clubs who have been following him for some time.

‘It’s right that a striker like that, one of the best number 9s in the world, has big clubs who are interested in him. But they have to please him and Inter.’ 

Despite admitting clubs had been in contact, Wanda declined to name names but said her husband’s current priority was Inter.

She added: ‘The directors know he has rejected clubs that other players wouldn’t reject,…
