Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall has signed a new four-and-a-half-year deal at the City Ground.
The 20-year-old is now contracted to the Reds until 2022, a major boost for the club considering his rapid rise.
Worrall made his England Under-21s debut earlier this month and has been linked with a move to Premier League clubs including West Bromwich Albion.
The centre-half only made his first appearance for Forest last season, having spent part of the 2015/16 campaign on loan at Dagenham and Redbridge, who went on to be relegated from League Two.
Worrall has since gone on to make 27 appearances in Garibaldi red and captained the team in their game against Sheffield Wednesday this season.
He also captained England’s Young Lions to victory in the Toulon Tournament in the summer.
