Nottingham Forest’s Frank McParland spotted at Scottish derby clash, sparking fresh speculation Reds are targeting young midfielder

Nottingham Forest’s director of football Frank McParland was spotted at St Mirren’s derby clash with Morton on Saturday, prompting fresh speculation the Reds will make a move for Lewis Morgan in January.

Mark Warburton has already raided Scottish football for two of its rising stars since taking charge at the City Ground, signing Jason Cummings from Hibernian and Barrie McKay from his former club Rangers.

The Reds also tried to sign Hibernian’s John McGinn during the summer transfer window.

Scotland youth international midfielder Morgan is now understood to be on their radar, with Forest reportedly weighing up a £400,000 bid for the 21-year-old, who is out of contract at St Mirren next summer.
