Former Bradford and Wigan boss Paul Jewell has returned to football as assistant to Oldham manager Richie Wellens.
Wellens, 37, has lifted Oldham out of the Sky Bet League One relegation zone since succeeding John Sheridan in late September.
New assistant boss Jewell brings with him a wealth of experience from his spells at the likes of Bradford, Sheffield Wednesday, Wigan, Derby and Ipswich, who he left in October 2012.
