Should Mark Warburton stick with the same Nottingham Forest side that beat Burton?

Manager Mark Warburton could be forced into at least one change for Nottingham Forest‘s trip to face Hull City.

The Reds travel to the Humber with doubts surrounding left-back Armand Traore who limped off in the first of last week’s win over Burton Albion, which meant that Danny Fox switched to full-back with Joe Worrall coming on and partnering Michael Mancienne in the centre of defence.

Worrall will hope to cap off a special week with a start at the KCOM Stadium, having penned a new long-term deal at the City Ground on Tuesday.

David Vaughan back in action for Forest trying to stop Lloyd Dyer

Welsh midfielder David Vaughan made his long-awaited return to action a week ago having missed eight games through injury, while Mustapha Carayol did his chances of returning to the match day squad no harm with an impressive display on Monday, albeit against a Crewe Under-23 side.

There were no fewer than seven first team players on show in Cheshire, with Stephen Henderson, Matt Mills, Zach Clough, Matty Cash, Tyler Walker and Apostolos Vellios joining Carayol in Gary Brazil’s side.

All bar Vellios, who was brought off mid-way through the second half for Toby Edser, played 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw and will be pushing for places in the squad for the trip to Hull.

Matty Cash has played in the last three Under-23 games

Cash again came through 90 minutes of action and with another Under-23 game scheduled for Friday afternoon, it remains to be seen if any of the squad will be facing Sheffield Wednesday at the City Ground.

Eric Lichaj made his second start in a row last time out, scoring the crucial second goal, and he’s likely to keep his place at the expense of Tendayi Darikwa who made way for the American at Derby.

Here’s your chance to pick the side you think will be best suited to getting a result at Hull…
